Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional bedside care including bathing, grooming, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs with precision using electronic health records
- Assist with mobility transfers and patient positioning using proper techniques
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals for cohesive care plans
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
- Support end-of-life care with dignity and compassion
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound judgments
- Physical stamina to handle lifting and prolonged standing
- Proficient in electronic medical documentation systems
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
