Responsibilities
- Delight compassionate care to residents including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, mobility status, and behavioral changes
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments and equipment
- Collaborate with night shift nurses and interdisciplinary teams
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency situations
- Update care plans and electronic health records accurately
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in long-term care or geriatric settings
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish preferred)
- Reliable transportation for overnight shifts
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
