Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive clinical support including patient preparation, vital signs monitoring, and ECG procedures
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision with precise documentation
- Manage patient intake processes, electronic health records, and inventory control
- Assist with minor surgical procedures and sterile technique maintenance
- Coordinate patient education materials and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during emergency response situations
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced healthcare environment
- BLS/CPR certification and phlebotomy proficiency
- Exceptional documentation skills and EMR system proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to perform calmly under pressure during emergencies
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
