Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures during overnight shifts
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing
- Manage electronic health records with precision and HIPAA compliance
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders
- Triage patient calls and coordinate urgent care needs
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile environments
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current MA certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in hospital/urgent care setting
- BLS certification and phlebotomy proficiency
- Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Strong EMR/EHR proficiency (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Flexibility for rotating weekends and holidays
