Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and vital sign monitoring during night shifts.
- Manage patient intake, charting, and electronic medical record updates efficiently.
- Perform phlebotomy and point-of-care testing with high accuracy and patient safety.
- Assist providers with minor procedures and patient triage in a calm, efficient manner.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all safety protocols and HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with the night nursing staff to ensure seamless continuity of care.
- Handle incoming phone inquiries and triage messages during off-hours.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current BLS/ACLS certification (ACLS preferred for night coverage).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical or medical office setting.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth).
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, holidays, and weekends.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a patient-centric approach.
- Valid Colorado driver’s license (not required for all roles but preferred).
