Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight monitoring with high accuracy.
- Assist providers with examinations and clinical procedures in a calm, efficient manner.
- Prepare and administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Manage patient flow, ensuring a welcoming and organized clinic environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) and documentation.
- Assist with laboratory tasks, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing.
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff during night operations.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a night shift role.
- Strong ability to work independently and prioritize tasks during off-hours.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation.
