Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced night shift setting
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies with clinical expertise
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- mentor junior nursing staff and share best practices
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Virginia or compact state
- BSN preferred (ADN considered with experience)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to thrive in autonomous night shift environment
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
