Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute/critical settings during night shifts
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care
- Implement treatment plans and emergency response protocols
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and facility regulations
- Conduct patient assessments and update care plans
- Supervise LPNs/CNAs and provide clinical guidance
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS/ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care or ER experience
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Electronic medical record proficiency (Epic/Cerner)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient volumes
