Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Sterilize instruments and maintain clean treatment areas
- Take dental X-rays and develop radiographs
- Prepare patients for treatment and provide comfort measures
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
- Document patient information accurately in digital records
- Assist with front desk duties including scheduling and billing
Qualifications
- No prior dental experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow precise instructions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Basic computer literacy
- CPR certification (will be provided if needed)
- Washington State dental assistant registration (training provided)
