Responsibilities
- Assess patient calls and determine medical urgency using established protocols
- Provide initial triage guidance and critical care instructions over phone and in-person
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate patient care
- Document patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Follow HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards
- Participate in emergency response drills and continuous training programs
- Maintain clean and organized triage areas for optimal workflow
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Recent nursing graduates encouraged to apply
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (training provided if needed)
