Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs as per care plans
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social engagements
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
- Maintain detailed care records and communicate updates to families and care coordinators
- Implement safety protocols to ensure a secure living environment
- Light housekeeping tasks to maintain client comfort and hygiene
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience required
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanor
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Reliable transportation within San Francisco
- Experience working with clients with dementia or mobility challenges preferred
