Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
- Monitor vital signs and document health observations accurately
- Administer prescribed medications under proper protocols
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Maintain clean and safe home environments for clients
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or equivalent training
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license and reliable transportation
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass thorough background checks and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly clients
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Basic knowledge of senior care best practices
