Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and document resident health status accurately
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Transport residents safely to appointments and social activities
- Maintain clean and organized resident living spaces
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and family
- Follow infection control protocols and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Active Indiana CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months of long-term care experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid Indiana driver's license (if transporting residents)
