Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, dietary intake, and health changes
- Provide companionship and engage residents in social activities
- Support medication administration under RN supervision
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments
- Collaborate with healthcare team members on care plans
- Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months of long-term care experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach to senior care
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Background clearance and TB test clearance
