Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse)
- Administer medications under RN supervision
- Provide mobility assistance and safe transfers
- Document patient observations accurately in medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop care plans
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Qualifications
- Active Kentucky CNA certification
- Minimum 1 year of home health or long-term care experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Background check and drug screen required
- Compassionate demeanor and patience working with elderly clients
