Responsibilities
- Delight residents with personalized assistance in daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor vital signs and document resident conditions with meticulous attention to detail
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments following established protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for all residents
- Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance residents' quality of life
Qualifications
- Active Washington State Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in long-term care or geriatric setting preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification from an accredited provider
- Excellent communication skills with ability to interact sensitively with elderly residents
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Clear criminal background check and negative TB test result required
