Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and resident conditions
- Support meal services and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Administer medications under RN supervision as per facility protocols
- Maintain clean resident environments and infection control standards
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience in long-term care
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate demeanor with strong attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must pass background check and TB screening
