Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor and record vital signs with precision and attention to detail
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Prepare nutritious meals and accommodate special dietary requirements
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain safe client environments
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Document care activities accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize client outcomes
Qualifications
- Active DC CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in home care or long-term care setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Valid DC driver's license with clean driving record
