Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized daily care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document resident health changes in electronic medical records
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders
- Collaborate with nurses and therapists to create individualized care plans
- Engage residents in social and recreational activities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and homelike environment
Qualifications
- Active DC CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in senior care or assisted living
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate demeanor with genuine passion for elder care
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Background check and TB test clearance
