Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care provided
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent pressure injuries
- Support nutritional needs by serving meals and assisting with feeding when necessary
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Report any changes in resident condition promptly to nursing team
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in long-term care or assisted living
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly residents
- Reliable transportation with valid CA driver's license
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
