Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of medical equipment
- Support activities of daily living while maintaining patient dignity
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop individualized care plans
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
- Report changes in patient condition promptly to clinical team
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Clear criminal background check and TB test results
