Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in residents' conditions
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Administer medications accurately and document care as required
- Support nutritional needs by assisting with meals and feeding when necessary
- Maintain clean, safe environments for residents and staff
- Collaborate with healthcare team to implement care plans
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent senior care experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Strong communication skills and empathy for seniors
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer skills for documentation
