Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition
- Assist with mobility and transfer using proper techniques
- Document care accurately and maintain confidential records
- Support medication administration under RN supervision
- Participate in care planning meetings
- Create a positive, dignified environment for residents
Qualifications
- Active Indiana CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of long-term care experience preferred
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Clear criminal background check and TB test
- Valid Indiana driver's license (for community outings)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper technique
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate attitude toward elderly care
