Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with patients' daily living activities including bathing, dressing, mobility, and feeding
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care delivery using electronic health records
- Support licensed nursing staff in implementing individualized care plans and treatment protocols
- Maintain clean, safe environments following infection control standards and OSHA guidelines
- Assist with patient transportation, positioning, and transfer procedures using proper techniques
- Facilitate positive patient interactions while demonstrating empathy during challenging situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure seamless continuity of patient services
Qualifications
- Active Georgia CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in acute care or long-term setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in electronic documentation systems and medical terminology
- Strong communication skills with ability to interpret complex patient needs
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
