Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing supervisor immediately.
- Administer medication and treatments as directed by licensed healthcare professionals.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure patients maintain proper nutrition and hydration.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients and visitors.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification and valid state license (Colorado).
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
