Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate.
- Provide basic wound care and assist with mobility using walkers and wheelchairs.
- Communicate patient status and changes to the nursing staff and physicians.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Assist with feeding and hydration for patients with special needs.
- Transport patients to treatment areas using stretchers or wheelchairs.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required in the State of California.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients safely.
- Compassionate demeanor and a commitment to patient safety.
