Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Help patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility as needed.
- Monitor Vital Signs: Track and report changes in patient health status to the supervising nurse.
- Medication Administration: Support patients with prescribed medications under the direction of licensed staff.
- Patient Communication: Build rapport with patients and families, providing emotional support and clear updates.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and care logs.
- Hygiene & Safety: Ensure a clean, safe, and infection-free environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current CNA License: State of Florida certification required.
- BLS Certification: Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) must be current.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Compassion: Genuine passion for helping others and a patient-centered approach.
- Reliability: Ability to adhere to strict schedules and shift commitments.
