Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature, accurately.
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers using proper techniques and equipment.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and care plans.
- Document patient information and care activities in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient needs.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all residents.
Qualifications
- Current, valid California CNA License required.
- Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant training program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented healthcare setting.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients as needed.
