Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and other patient data
- Administer medications and treatments as per care plans
- Companionship and emotional support for elderly clients
- Maintain clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with families and healthcare team
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in home healthcare or senior care
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Compassionate demeanor and patience with elderly patients
- Clear criminal background check and drug screening
