Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, mobility)
- Accurately document patient vitals and care observations in EMR systems
- Assist with therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation protocols
- Monitor nutritional intake and hydration status
- Support dementia/memory care patients with specialized techniques
- Collaborate with RNs to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active Ohio CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience
- CPR/BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Proficient in point-of-care documentation systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear criminal background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication skills in English
- COVID-19 vaccination series (medical/religious accommodations available)
