Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Document patient care plans and progress updates accurately in electronic health records.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team regarding patient changes or concerns.
Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina CNA License (required).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
