Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation using proper techniques
- Prepare and serve meals while accommodating special dietary needs
- Document care activities accurately and maintain resident records
- Support social engagement activities to enhance resident quality of life
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated services
Qualifications
- Current Ohio CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in long-term care or assisted living
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach with elderly populations
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Background check and drug screen required
