Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Sterilize instruments and maintain immaculate operatory hygiene
- Take dental radiographs and perform infection control protocols
- Manage patient records using digital software (EHR experience preferred)
- Assist with front desk duties including scheduling and insurance verification
- Order dental supplies and maintain inventory control
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (or enrolled in accredited program)
- X-ray certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Valid CPR certification
