Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize instruments/equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take dental X-rays and develop radiographs
- Manage patient charts and digital records (Dentrix/EagleSoft)
- Administer patient comfort measures during treatments
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain sterile treatment rooms
- Perform inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- 1+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Active CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be available to work evenings and occasional Saturdays
