Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Maintain sterilization protocols for all instruments and equipment
- Manage patient records using our digital EHR system
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
- Provide post-operative instructions to patients
- Ensure operatory sanitation and readiness for next appointments
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in NY
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in dental settings
- Proficiency in digital imaging and EHR systems
- CPR certification (BLS preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
- Flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays (10-15 hrs/week)
