About the Role:
We are looking for a professional who is detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced setting. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients have a comfortable and efficient visit.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms with instruments, materials, and equipment.
- Take and develop dental X-rays and intraoral photographs as directed.
- Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Manage patient records, scheduling, and insurance verification efficiently.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Perform basic lab duties, such as impressions and crown preparations.
Qualifications
- Current California Dental Assistant license (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- Certification in Radiography (RDHA) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a dental practice.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and infection control standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a clinical team.
- Reliable and punctual attendance record.
