Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and light exercise to prevent falls.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding according to dietary restrictions.
- Administer medication reminders and document daily activities in care logs.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry as assigned.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Report any changes in the client's physical or mental condition to the Case Manager.
Qualifications
- Current Alaska CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA (Home Health Aide) certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Alaska Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Pass a thorough background check and drug screen.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
