Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Meal Assistance: Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding according to dietary restrictions.
- Health Monitoring: Track vital signs and report any changes in health or mood to nursing staff immediately.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in social activities to reduce isolation.
- Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and cleaning, to maintain a safe environment.
- Medication Support: Remind clients to take medications as prescribed and assist with medical appointments.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of care provided and daily logs.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; CNA or HHA certification preferred.
- Certifications: Valid CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Licensing: Current Oklahoma driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
- Physical: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods as needed.
- Experience: Previous home health or caregiving experience is a plus but not mandatory.
