Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures
- Accurately measure vital signs and document electronic health records
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Perform basic laboratory tests and specimen collection
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain exam room readiness
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling and insurance verification
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
