Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including patient vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain clinic flow
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and wellness
- Coordinate referrals and lab specimen processing
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Spanish fluency highly desirable
