Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and medical equipment
- Perform vital signs and ECG measurements
- Administer medications and injections as directed
- Electronic health records documentation and data entry
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Collect and process laboratory specimens
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- New York State medical assistant license
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance
- Excellent patient communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts (days/evenings)
- Basic EKG and phlebotomy proficiency
