Responsibilities
- Perform clinical procedures including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and injections
- Prepare exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain inventory
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Update electronic health records (EHR) with precision
- Administer medications per physician protocols
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Ensure strict HIPAA compliance and infection control
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Current MA certification (CMA/RMA) or graduate of accredited program
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Phlebotomy and EKG certification preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- BLS/CPR certification
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environment
- Pass background check and drug screening
