Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Accurately record vital signs and medical histories in EMR systems
- Administer injections and medications as prescribed by physicians
- Perform phlebotomy and basic laboratory tests
- Sterilize equipment and maintain exam room inventory
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all patient interactions
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) from accredited institution
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical workflows
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment
