Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy with precision
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Manage patient intake, medical histories, and documentation
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient care workflows
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and strict confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in high-volume settings
- Valid California driver's license for travel between sites
- Spanish bilingualism strongly preferred
