Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, meticulously documenting all interventions.
- Monitor patient vital signs and progress, reporting changes to physicians promptly.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, including HIPAA.
- Provide empathetic support and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN) from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an acute care setting.
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Demonstrated strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
