Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical units with precision and compassion
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with strict adherence to safety protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Respond efficiently to emergency situations using advanced assessment skills
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin RN license in good standing
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing patient needs
