Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessment and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and attention to detail
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain strict compliance with infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Active New York State RN license (required)
- BSN or Associate Degree in Nursing with 2+ years clinical experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC preferred)
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in fast-paced settings
- Valid NYC Department of Health clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
