Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in specialized units including cardiology and oncology
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment protocols and health maintenance
- Respond to emergency situations with critical thinking and clinical expertise
Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- BSN degree preferred (ADN with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in acute care setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
