Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and hospital protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control measures
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with critical thinking skills
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license in good standing
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- BLS certification; ACLS/PALS preferred for specialty units
- Strong assessment and clinical judgment abilities
- Proficiency with electronic health records (Epic experience a plus)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling including weekends
