Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with treatment plans and nursing protocols
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses with precision
- Document clinical observations and patient progress accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control standards
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact license)
- Associates or BSN degree from accredited nursing program
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in acute care or specialty area
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or obtain within 30 days)
- Strong proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
